In the case file at the Bakırköy 24th High Criminal Court, which is subject to a closed-session and confidentiality order, the court allowed members of the press into the courtroom while announcing its verdict.

Announcing its decision, the court sentenced the detained defendant Metin Şenay to a total of 293 years and 6 months in prison for crimes against 4 children, as well as a judicial fine of 1 million 687 thousand 500 TL.

Metin Şenay, who worked as a water delivery man in a neighborhood in Bağcılar, raped neighborhood children for years in a foam-padded room he had built in his workplace and recorded these moments.
