Following a series of reaction messages on social media, O.T., who slapped Ege Akersoy, was apprehended and taken into custody.

The documents regarding O.T. were requested by the prosecutor handling the case to be completed and submitted later.
O.T., whose documents were delivered to the courthouse, was released from the police station directly on the prosecutor's instructions without being brought before the prosecutor's office.
