Starting his post by saying, "My friends are curious about the earthquakes in Gümüşhane," Naci Görür made important observations regarding these consecutive tremors.

Görür shared the following regarding the subject:

"My friends are curious about the earthquakes in Gümüşhane. One happened last night, the other this evening. The one yesterday was in Yeşilyurt-Kelkit (4.3), and the one this evening was in Cemalli-Kelkit (4.0)...

Both earthquakes are within the Dumanlı Fault Zone, which extends between Yeşilyurt and Olur from the North Anatolian Fault.

The earthquakes are small, but they could to some extent load stress onto the Yedisu Fault, where we expect an earthquake between Erzincan and Bingöl, with love"
