Increase expected in YENİ Party's parliamentary seat count: Date and figures provided

As of July 24, 91 deputies left the CHP to establish the YENİ Party.

This historic split has dominated Turkey's political agenda. While Özgür Özel was elected as the Chairman of the YENİ Party, the party's Party Assembly (PM), High Disciplinary Board (YDK) members, and group deputy chairmen have also been determined.

With the completion of official procedures for the YENİ Party's 91 deputies, it is expected that the party will take its place as the main opposition in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).

"THERE WILL BE NEW TRANSFERS IN AUGUST AND OCTOBER"

Sinan Burhan stated, "5 more deputies will join the YENİ Party on August 30. Another 5 deputies will join on October 1. The goal is to bring the total number of deputies to 101."claiming that the transfers will continue.

"NEW TRANSFERS ARE TACTICAL"

Continuing his remarks, Burhan said, "As I understand it, 10 deputies were held back to create the impression that 'we are a center of attraction.' It is suggested that these 10 deputies are being kept in reserve to be able to say 'there is interest in us.'
