Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei speaks at Friday sermon: The 'rifle' detail

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei led Friday prayers in the capital Tehran for the first time in 4 years and made statements.

Before the prayer, which was attended by tens of thousands of people along with high-level political and military officials at Tehran's Imam Khomeini Grand Mosalla Mosque, a memorial ceremony was held for Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, who was killed in an Israeli attack on Beirut on September 27.

HARSH MESSAGES FROM KHAMENEI

Giving clear messages regarding Israel during the Friday sermon, Khamenei said, "The resistance in the region will not take a step back even if its leaders are killed." Speaking about the death of Hezbollah leader Nasrallah, Khamenei stated that Iran's retaliation against Israel was "legal and legitimate self-defense."

The Iranian leader also expressed that they could attack Israel again if necessary, emphasizing the determination of the resistance in the region. It was observed that Khamenei carried a rifle by his side during the sermon.

These harsh statements once again demonstrated that there would be no change in the stance of Iran and its allies against Israel.
