Israeli government targets Gigi Hadid from official account: 'We see you'
The Israeli government has issued a controversial response to a message from famous Palestinian-American model Gigi Hadid regarding the Palestine-Israel war.
Palestinian-American model Gigi Hadid's reaction to the attacks on Gaza has angered Israel.
The famous model condemned both Hamas's raid on Israeli territory and Israel's bombardment of Gaza on her Instagram account, stating, ''I feel a deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation. I also have a responsibility to my Jewish friends to make this clear: While I have hopes and dreams for Palestinians, none of them include the harm of a Jewish person''.
The response given to Gigi Hadid from the official Instagram account of the State of Israel drew attention. Israel targeted Hadid in the post with the following words:
“Have you been sleeping this past week, Gigi? Or are you just turning a blind eye to Jewish babies being butchered in their homes? Your silence is telling of where you stand. We see you.”

REACTION TO ISRAEL'S 'PROPAGANDA'
In another message, the State of Israel account tagged Hadid in a photo featuring bloodied toys and children's clothing, with the note, “If you don't condemn this, your words mean nothing.” While these harsh messages sparked reactions on social media, many accused Israel of “covering up the crimes against humanity it committed in Gaza with propaganda.”
Palestinian-American businessman Mohamed Hadid's model daughters, Gigi and Bella Hadid, had previously sparked controversy with their support for Palestine.
