Istanbul Airport surpasses Amsterdam and London airports
Istanbul Airport was named the busiest airport in Europe between April 1-7, with an average of 1,412 daily flights.
The "European Aviation Report" for the period of April 1-7, published by the European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), has been released.
According to the report, Istanbul Airport ranked first among Europe's busiest airports during this period, with an average of 1,412 daily flights.
Istanbul Airport was followed by Amsterdam Schiphol with 1,326 daily flights and London Heathrow with 1,293 daily flights.
