Istanbul Governor's Office announced that, in order to ease traffic, the passage of trucks, tractor units, and tankers on certain roads has been banned for 24 hours starting from 05:00 on April 14.

The Istanbul Governor's Office stated that, within the scope of the Ministry of Interior's 'Traffic Measures Circular', in order to prevent disruptions in supply processes in Istanbul; vehicles such as trucks, tractor units, and tankers carrying perishable foods like fresh vegetables/fruits, milk and dairy products, frozen foods, live and cut flowers, medicine, medical supplies, and fuel will be permitted on routes other than main arteries, and will be allowed on main arteries only in cases of necessity and for the minimum amount of time.

Large vehicles will not be allowed to enter Istanbul from 05:00 on April 14 until 05:00 on April 15.
