General Directorate of Highways denies claims that 'Ankara Ring Road' will become toll-based
The General Directorate of Highways (KGM) has announced that claims suggesting the 'Ankara Ring Road' will be made toll-based are unfounded and do not reflect the truth.
In a statement issued by the KGM, it was stated: "The claims appearing in some social media posts that the 'Ankara Ring Road' will be made toll-based are unfounded and do not reflect the truth.
There is no study within the General Directorate of Highways regarding making the Ankara Ring Road toll-based.
The ring roads operated by the KGM, which have provided our citizens with uninterrupted and free transportation for years, continue to serve in the same status in accordance with the understanding of public service.
It is kindly requested that no credence be given to such misleading information, which is intentionally created with incomplete and deceptive content and aims to manipulate public opinion by causing unrest."
