Kılıçdaroğlu's harsh reaction to 'Instagram comment arrest': 'RTÜK has made its first move'
Former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu commented on the arrest of a woman named Dilruba, who was detained due to a street interview she gave, in a post on his social media account.
Reactions are growing like an avalanche against the treatment of a woman named Dilruba, who was arrested for her comments regarding the blocking of Instagram, shortly after it was revealed that street interviews would be brought under the supervision of RTÜK.
Former CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu has joined those criticizing her arrest for exercising her right to freedom of expression.
Criticizing those who remain silent about this situation, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that 'one day, their turn will come too.'
Stating that RTÜK receives instructions from the palace, Kılıçdaroğlu made the following statement:
Let those who are silent today know that,
One day, their turn will come too…
Dilruba, who gave a street interview in İzmir, was arrested for expressing her thoughts.
RTÜK has made its first move after deciding to impose censorship on street interviews, following instructions received from the palace.
They have also seized the only medium where citizens could almost express themselves.
This is the one-man regime.
This is the palace regime.
This is the result of the co-presidency of the G.M.E. (Greater Middle East Project).
I am telling everyone;
There is NO other Turkey..!
