Lights flickered at CHP Headquarters following Özgür Özel's call
The light-switching protest initiated by CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was carried out across the country. The CHP Headquarters also participated in the action.
As the debate over an interim raise for the minimum wage and additional increases for pensions continues, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel invited citizens to launch a protest against the price hikes.
Following Özel's call for a light-switching protest at 9:00 PM, the action was carried out across the country.

CHP HEADQUARTERS ALSO PARTICIPATED
Citizens heeded this call for freedom and justice in the economy by turning their lights on and off. The lights at the CHP Headquarters were also turned off and on.
Özel had called on citizens to join the light-switching protest, stating, "We invite Turkey to stand up. Stand up tonight at 9:00 PM! If you want a raise, turn your lights on, turn your lights off."
