MAK Consulting announces results of 30 metropolitan city survey
Public opinion research company MAK Consulting has shared the results of its surveys conducted in 30 metropolitan cities with only days remaining until the March 31 Local Elections.
In the research conducted between February 21 and March 9, 2024, the first question asked was, "In your opinion, what qualities should a mayoral candidate have, independent of political parties?"
While 38 percent of those who participated in the survey said, "They should be accessible when needed," 32 percent said, "They should be modest with the seriousness of a statesman." In response to the question, "In a mayoral election, what is more important to you, the party or the candidate?" 46 percent answered, "Both the candidate and the party are important," while 33 percent said, "The party is important."
To the question, "In your opinion, what is our country's most important problem?" 48 percent responded with, "Cost of living, unemployment, and economic problems," while 13 percent said, "Moral and social problems."
YRP IS IN CLOSE PURSUIT IN ORDU
According to the MAK Consulting metropolitan survey conducted between February 21 and March 9, the AKP-MHP alliance is leading in Adana, Antalya, Eskişehir, and Hatay, while the IYI Party is leading in Ordu. In Urfa, the YRP is challenging the AKP-MHP, which holds 32 percent, with 29 percent.
