Mansur Yavaş takes a jab at Numan Kurtulmuş over Article 3
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş reacted to Numan Kurtulmuş's remarks regarding Article 3 of the Constitution in a post on his social media account.
Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş's statement that Article 3 of the Constitution 'needs to be changed' has become a topic of discussion.
Kurtulmuş said, "Because a state does not have a country, a state does not have a nation. This text should be expressed as the indivisible integrity of the nation with its state and country."
One of those who reacted to this statement by Kurtulmuş was Mansur Yavaş. In his message celebrating the 101st anniversary of Ankara becoming the capital, Yavaş took a jab at Kurtulmuş without mentioning his name.
Mansur Yavaş included the following statements in his message:

"Today is the 101st anniversary of our Ankara becoming the capital.
On this occasion, let us once again recall Article 3 of the Constitution of the Republic of Turkey;
“The State of Turkey is an indivisible entity with its country and nation. Its language is Turkish. Its flag, the form of which is specified by law, is the white crescent and star on a red background. Its national anthem is the Independence March. Its capital is Ankara.”
