According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be mostly cloudy, with precipitation expected across the country except for the northwest of the Marmara region.

Precipitation, which is expected to fall as rain and showers in coastal and southeastern areas, and as rain, eventually turning to sleet and snow in higher elevations in other regions, is expected to be heavy in the Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, the Central Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea coast, the west of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Adıyaman. Mist and localized fog are expected in the northern, inner, and eastern parts. There is a risk of avalanches in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperature: Air temperatures are not expected to change significantly in the southeastern parts of the country, while they are forecast to drop noticeably (by 8 to 10 degrees) in other areas.

Wind: It is expected to blow generally from southerly directions, light to occasionally moderate, and strong with localized short-term storms (40-70 km/h) from northerly and northeasterly directions in Marmara and the North Aegean coasts.

HEAVY PRECIPITATION WARNING

Since precipitation is expected to be heavy in the Mediterranean, the south and east of Central Anatolia, the Central Black Sea, the Eastern Black Sea coast, the west of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Adıyaman, caution and precautions should be taken against negative conditions such as floods, flash floods, lightning, disruptions in transportation, local hail, and strong winds during precipitation.

Since the wind is expected to blow strongly and occasionally as short-term storms (40-70 km/h) from northerly and northeasterly directions in Marmara and the North Aegean coasts, caution and precautions must be taken against potential negative conditions.
