Meteorological warning for downpours and temperatures
While local downpours are expected in the north of Marmara, the west of the Western Black Sea, and the eastern surroundings of Van, temperatures will continue to hover above seasonal norms.
According to the latest assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology, partly to very cloudy weather is expected in the northern and eastern parts of the country. Local downpours and thunderstorms will be effective in the north of Marmara, the west of the Western Black Sea, and the eastern surroundings of Van.
In other parts of the country, clear and slightly cloudy weather is forecast. While no significant change is expected in air temperatures, it is estimated that values will continue to hover above seasonal norms across the country.

WEATHER BY REGION
Partly and very cloudy weather will prevail in Marmara. While local downpours and thunderstorms are expected in the north of the region, it was reported that precipitation in Istanbul could be seen after noon, and in Kırklareli during the morning and noon hours. Temperatures are expected to be around 26 degrees in Istanbul, 30 in Bursa, 29 in Çanakkale, and 24 in Kırklareli.

Generally clear and slightly cloudy weather stands out in the Aegean and Mediterranean regions. Temperatures are expected to reach 37 degrees in Denizli, 33 in İzmir, 34 in Muğla, and 31 in Uşak in the Aegean; and 34 in Adana, 32 in Antalya, 36 in Burdur, and 31 in Hatay in the Mediterranean.
In Central Anatolia, slightly cloudy weather will turn partly and occasionally very cloudy over time. Local downpours and thunderstorms may be seen in the surroundings of Çankırı during the night hours. Temperatures are forecast at 33 degrees in Ankara, 32 in Eskişehir, 34 in Konya, and 31 in Nevşehir.

In the Western Black Sea, cloudiness is expected to increase over time, with local downpours becoming effective in the west of the region during the night hours. While there is a risk of precipitation at night for Bolu, Düzce, and Zonguldak, partly and slightly cloudy weather is forecast for Sinop.
Partly and slightly cloudy weather is expected in the Central and Eastern Black Sea. In Eastern Anatolia, cloudiness will increase in the east of the region; local downpours and thunderstorms may be seen in the eastern surroundings of Van during the noon hours. Clear and slightly cloudy weather will prevail in Southeastern Anatolia; temperatures are expected to reach 36 degrees in Diyarbakır, 35 in Gaziantep, 34 in Mardin, and 37 in Şanlıurfa.

WIND WARNING FOR SEAS
A storm-force wind warning has been issued for the seas, particularly for the North Aegean. In the north of the North Aegean, winds are expected to blow at force 5 to 7 during the morning hours, with wave heights reaching up to 3 meters in some places by noon.
In the Black Sea, downpours and thunderstorms may be seen in the west of the Western Black Sea. In Marmara, partly and very cloudy weather with occasional downpours is expected. There is also a possibility of local downpours with partly and very cloudy weather around Lake Van.

Authorities advise citizens to be cautious against sudden downpours in regions where precipitation is expected, and those engaged in maritime activities to follow wind and wave warnings. Precautions against the risk of sunstroke were requested in regions where temperatures remain high.
