MHP's Feti Yıldız announces: 1,353 people released due to illness

MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız announced that 1,353 people held in prisons have been released.

Yıldız made a statement on the matter via his social media account.

In the statement, it was noted that "under the Law on the Execution of Penal and Security Measures" under the "Law on the Execution of Sentences" a large numberof people have been released.

Yıldız stated, "Due to illness, a total of 1,353 people have had their sentences postponed and have been released between 2024 and 2025."
