Mustafa Sarıgül does pull-ups on Ankara's viral sign
CHP's Mustafa Sarıgül did pull-ups on Ankara's viral sign. Addressing the youth, Sarıgül said, "Kızılay is fine, but I am definitely waiting for you at the dear Erzincan sign."
It has become a trend among young people to hang from the 'Kızılay' sign located on Kennedy Street in Çankaya to take photos and share them on social media.
The sign has been replaced 3 times previously due to reasons such as theft and vandalism. The Ankara Metropolitan Municipality installed a pull-up bar behind the pole where the sign is located to prevent damage.
However, the trend of hanging from the sign to take photos continued.
On November 17, 2 people were stabbed and injured during an argument that broke out due to the crowd forming to take photos.
The sign, which was renewed for the 3rd time by the municipality, was damaged and removed by unidentified persons.
Municipal teams renewed the sign for the 4th time.
