Of the suspects who were referred to the courthouse following health checks, 69 were arrested by the judgeship they were brought before. 3 of the suspects were released under judicial control provisions.
Narcotics teams had carried out a simultaneous operation on December 19 at addresses and vehicles identified in Esenyurt as part of efforts to apprehend drug dealers.
In the operation, where some addresses were entered using battering rams, 69 suspects were initially apprehended, and 3 more suspects were taken into custody as the investigation continued.
During the searches, in addition to narcotic substances, 2 unlicensed pistols, 94 cartridges, 7 precision scales, and a sum of money believed to be proceeds of crime were seized.
