The processing of 54 suspects at the police station continues following operations conducted in 25 provinces by the Istanbul Financial Crimes Investigation Bureau, under the coordination of the Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, as part of an investigation into "establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes," "laundering assets derived from crime," "forgery of official documents," and "qualified fraud."

New details have emerged in the investigation, in which beauty center owner and social media influencer Neslihan Güngen and her husband İnanç Güngen were also taken into custody.

CNN TÜRK Istanbul News Director Nihat Uludağ explained the details of the operation as follows:

''Neslihan Güngen and İnanç Güngen were among the 54 people apprehended and taken into custody yesterday. And 54 people were detained as part of a money laundering investigation involving a massive 1.5 billion lira volume of funds.

An important development occurred yesterday evening. A flow of money inconsistent with the natural course of business was detected in the companies belonging to the Güngen family, totaling 1.5 billion lira. It was determined that the tax inspector tasked with investigating this situation had been holding off-the-record meetings and encounters, particularly with Neslihan Güngen.

And in this sense, the tax inspector tasked with investigating this case was also taken into custody as of yesterday evening. The Financial Crimes Bureau teams placed the tax inspector under investigation. It was determined that this person was in a holiday region, and the tax inspector tasked with investigating this matter was apprehended the moment they returned to their hotel room. And a new link has been added to the investigation.

So, what do these secret meetings signify? It has been determined that the companies involved in the Güngen couple's 1.5 billion lira money traffic are registered under the name of the husband, İnanç Güngen.
