Operation in Istanbul against PKK's Finland representative
As a result of a joint operation by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the Istanbul Provincial Security Directorate, Mehnaz Omarı, who operated at a so-called leadership level within the PKK/KCK's Finland structure, was captured in Istanbul and sent to prison.
The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) continues its operations targeting the European structures of the PKK/KCK. As a result of a joint operation carried out by MİT and the Istanbul Provincial Security Directorate, Mehnaz Omarı, an Iranian/Urmia-origin individual codenamed Naze Ad who operated at a so-called leadership level within the PKK/KCK's Finland structure, was captured in Istanbul and sent to prison.
According to information obtained, it was revealed that the Iranian national Mehnaz Omarı provided coordination between PKK/KCK cadres in Finland and the organization's senior management, and played a significant role in the transfer of personnel and the provision of financing to the organization. Furthermore, it was determined that Omarı organized various actions and events on behalf of the organization in Finland.

Mehnaz Omarı, who had been under surveillance by MİT for a long time, was captured in Istanbul in a successful operation. It was learned that with the capture of Omarı, a great deal of critical information regarding the organization's Finland structure was also obtained.
