AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Qatar following his visit to Kuwait as part of his official tour.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has arrived in Qatar after completing his meetings in Kuwait, the first stop of his Middle East tour.
President Erdoğan was welcomed with an official ceremony at Hamad International Airport in the capital, Doha.
The welcoming ceremony was attended by Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani, Qatari officials, Turkey's Ambassador to Doha Mustafa Göksu, and other officials.
President Erdoğan is accompanied on his Doha visit by his wife Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, AK Party Deputy Chairman and Head of Health Policies Halit Yerebakan, AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Özlem Zengin, National Intelligence Organization (MİT) Head İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, President of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün, and Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç.
