10Haber reporter Furkan Karabay, who was detained due to his reporting and social media posts regarding the arrest of Esenyurt Mayor Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özer and the appointment of a trustee in his place, has been released in the case he was tried in.

RELEASE DECISION GRANTED

Karabay had been detained on the prosecutor's orders following his reporting on the investigation process at Esenyurt Municipality and the situation of Ahmet Özer. The court, to which he was referred with a request for arrest, decided to release Karabay under judicial control conditions.
