Fernas Mining workers, who were dismissed in the Soma district of Manisa for being members of the Independent Mine Workers Union, continue their struggle on the 52nd day of their resistance.
The workers, who marched from Soma to Ankara to protest, had started a hunger strike on October 14 after their request to march to the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources was blocked by law enforcement.
The path of the workers, who wanted to enter Kurtuluş Park in Ankara, was blocked by a Governor's Office decision.
