Shocking defense from those who slashed the tires of 35 vehicles: 'We were high, we don't remember...'
It is alleged that the suspects who slashed the tires of 35 parked vehicles in Adana claimed they were "under the influence of alcohol and did not remember anything." Both suspects were arrested by the court.
In the Sarıçam neighborhood of the Yüreğir district, Feyzullah K. and Alper Ö. slashed the tires of 34 cars and 1 tractor parked on the street.
These moments were captured on security cameras. Following reports from vehicle owners, police were dispatched to the area.
Teams from the Akıncılar Police Station, affiliated with the Yüreğir District Police Department, launched an operation to apprehend the suspects.
Police arrived at the scene, reviewed the security camera footage, and captured the two identified suspects. It is alleged that both suspects stated in their police testimonies that they were intoxicated and did not remember anything.
"WE WERE HIGH"
Feyzullah K., one of the suspects who underwent a health check at the forensic medicine unit, said, "We were high, we don't remember anything. I regret what I did."
THEY WERE ARRESTED
After the health check, Feyzullah K. and Alper Ö. were referred to the courthouse and were arrested by the court.
