Statement from the Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the collapsed building: 'A detailed investigation has been conducted'
The Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has announced that the incident involving the collapse of the Taşoluk Apartment building is being investigated in all its aspects. The statement included the following: "Following the laboratory analysis of the samples taken, a report will be prepared by the expert committee and submitted to the investigation file."
In a written statement issued by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that a detailed investigation was carried out at the scene after search and rescue operations were completed.
The statement, which reported that the investigation is being conducted by public prosecutors assigned by Konya Chief Public Prosecutor Halil İnal, noted the following:
"A detailed investigation was conducted at the building's wreckage by an expert committee specializing in architecture, geology, construction, electrical engineering, and occupational safety to determine the cause of the collapse.
Samples were taken by the experts.
Following the laboratory analysis of the samples taken, a report will be prepared by the expert committee and submitted to the investigation file.
The detention periods of the suspects in custody have been extended for the purpose of collecting relevant evidence.
The incident is being meticulously investigated in all its aspects."
