An earthquake occurred in the Nurdağı district of Gaziantep during the night. According to information on the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) website, the magnitude of the earthquake recorded at 03:42 was announced as 4.5.

AFAD reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 7.44 kilometers. The tremor, centered in Nurdağı, was felt in Kilis, Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, and Hatay, as well as in Gaziantep.

While the earthquake caused brief panic in surrounding provinces, AFAD's initial statement indicated that no negative incidents had been detected so far.
