In a statement made by the Ministry of Youth and Sports regarding footage at a student dormitory in Istanbul, it was stated, "The situation in question is unacceptable, and it is understood that it occurred during a period when the dormitory was closed for service, renovation work was ongoing, and no students were present."
The Ministry of Youth and Sports has issued a written statement regarding footage reported to have been taken at the Istanbul Atatürk Student Dormitory.
The statement said, "Certain footage and allegations regarding the Istanbul Atatürk Student Dormitory appearing in the press and on social media are being closely monitored by our Ministry.
The situation in question is unacceptable, and it is understood that it occurred during a period when the dormitory was closed for service, renovation work was ongoing, and no students were present.
An administrative investigation has been immediately launched regarding the incident, and the matter has been referred to judicial authorities.
All necessary procedures regarding those responsible are being carried out meticulously," it was stated.
