The investigation is ongoing.
'WE HAVE NO FEAR OF ANYTHING'
Upon receiving news of the attack, CHP Şehzadeler District Chair Mert Özkösemen and Şehzadeler Mayor Hakan Şimşek arrived at the party building to conduct inspections. After receiving information from the authorities regarding the incident, the chairs announced that they would follow the process closely.
CHP Şehzadeler District Chair Mert Özkösemen made the following statement after the incident: 'Unfortunately, a heinous attack was carried out on our district headquarters this evening. An individual we do not know at all threw stones at the windows of our district headquarters. We are the party that founded and saved Turkey. We have no fear of anything. I hope that this culture of violence will also come to an end. We have no damage other than property damage. We were out on neighborhood visits, fortunately, we were not working here. We gave our statement to the police. I hope we do not experience these negatives again and that no one dares to do this. We have filed a complaint.'
Following the incident, it was reported that daily operations at the district headquarters are continuing safely and that the attack only caused material damage.
