Supreme Military Council to convene: What is on the agenda?

The Supreme Military Council is convening tomorrow. The YAŞ meeting at the Presidential Complex will be attended by Council members, including Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Chief of General Staff General Metin Gürak, Commander of the Land Forces General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, Commander of the Naval Forces Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, and Commander of the Air Force General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu.

Prior to the meeting, YAŞ members will visit Anıtkabir under the leadership of President Erdoğan.

In addition to the promotions of colonels and the extension of their terms of duty, the meeting will also address the promotion and appointment files of generals and admirals.

While the YAŞ proceedings are expected to be completed in one day, the Council's decisions are expected to be announced to the public following President Erdoğan's approval.
