The events following the accident in Eyüpsultan, in which ATV driver Oğuz Murat Aci lost his life, have saddened everyone. It was determined that author Eylem Tok had smuggled her 16-year-old son T.C., who caused the accident, to Egypt, and it later emerged that she had fled to the USA with her son.

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç stated that an arrest warrant had been issued for the mother and son. Following the discovery of a missing mobile phone belonging to one of the injured, new details regarding the accident have also been reached.

THEY WERE 10 PEOPLE IN 2 VEHICLES

The Eyüpsultan District Police Department teams, which took action after the incident, launched an investigation into the accident. The police took the statements of the 9 friends who were with Eylem Tok's son on the night of the incident.

According to what was reported, on the evening the incident occurred, T.C. was traveling with 9 friends in two vehicles. There were 3 friends in T.C.'s vehicle. There were 6 friends in the other vehicle.

The police took the statements of T.C.'s 9 friends who were in the two vehicles on the night of the incident. The statements of the 3 friends who were in T.C.'s vehicle have emerged.

“While we were driving, T.C. pulled out to overtake a vehicle; he passed it, but there was a curve ahead of us, and he entered the curve at high speed. As he turned, we saw the ATV vehicles. T.C. suddenly steered the vehicle to the left. However, the vehicle started to skid. He hit the ATV-style vehicles.”

“I'M RUINED, MY LIFE IS OVER”

Another friend, one of the witnesses to the incident, said, “Vehicles passing by stopped to help. Meanwhile, someone called 112. We waited at the scene until the ambulance arrived. Timur was in shock and kept saying, 'My life is over.'”

“HE CALLED HIS MOTHER”

According to the testimonies, T.C. called his mother and the workplace driver immediately after the incident.

The mother and one of her employees, who arrived at the scene, took T.C. and 2 of his friends into the car and left the scene. One of T.C.'s friends who got into Eylem Tok's car recounted that night as follows:

"Eylem Tok put her son, me, and one of our friends into the vehicle. They took us to the residential complex. During this time, we realized that one of the injured people's mobile phones had remained with our friend.”

WANTED TO LEAVE THE PHONE WITH SECURITY

It is alleged that the missing mobile phone belonging to the injured Tahsin Arslan was first intended to be left with the security of the residential complex. However, it was later alleged that Eylem Tok wanted to take that phone. Eylem Tok also claimed in her statement that she did not take the phone. Today, a new development occurred. The family driver of author Eylem Tok and Doctor Bülent Cihantimur delivered the missing phone to the Eyüpsultan Public Security Bureau.

FRIENDS APPEARED IN THE FOOTAGE

Security camera footage, which also includes the 9 friends of T.C. whose statements were taken after the incident, has been added to the investigation file. A wide-ranging investigation into the incident is ongoing.

DETAILS REGARDING THE MISSING PHONE HAVE EMERGED

According to the work carried out by the police, it turned out that the missing mobile phone belonged to İbrahim Güneş.

According to the information obtained by the police, Z.H.T., one of the friends of Eylem Tok's son who witnessed the accident, took the phone from its owner to help one of the injured at the moment of the accident.

According to the allegations, the person from whom he took the phone was the injured İbrahim Güneş. Z.H.T. also stated in his testimony that he had taken the phone with him by mistake.

Z.H.T. later left the phone on the wall of the residential complex. The phone, which was taken under protection by the security guards of the complex, was taken by B.Ö., the mother of D.Ö., who was in Eylem Tok's vehicle that arrived at the complex and was also one of the witnesses to the accident.

DRIVER: “I FOUND IT IN THE CAR”

According to the allegations, the vehicle was being driven by A.K., an employee of Eylem Tok's company. Today, the company driver A.K., who brought the missing mobile phone belonging to İbrahim Güneş to the police station, claimed in his statement to the police that he found the mobile phone inside the car while checking it to clean it.

A multi-faceted investigation into the incident is continuing.
