Testimony of Narin's brother Enes Güran revealed: 'I loved her very much'

Testimony of Narin's brother Enes Güran revealed: 'I loved her very much'

As efforts continue to lift the veil of secrecy surrounding Narin's murder, the testimony of Narin's brother has emerged following that of her mother.

According to CNN Türk Istanbul News Director Nihat Uludağ, Enes Güran claimed that he learned the news of his sister's disappearance at 19:11 when his mother said, 'Narin did not come for dinner.'

Brother Güran stated, as he had previously claimed, that he had caused the bite mark on his arm himself out of grief. Güran's testimony is as follows:

I actually live in Malatya. I came to the village because my brother was going to join the military. I arrived late. We had breakfast in the morning. Narin left at noon to go to the mosque. I was very tired, so I slept. At one point, a friend called me; I spoke half-asleep and went back to sleep. I slept until 16:00.

"WE HAVE NO FEUD WITH ANYONE"

I went outside. When I came home in the evening at 19:11, my mother asked where Narin was. I said I didn't know. When I woke up at 16:00, my mother was at home, and our neighbor was with her. But I don't remember what time my mother came home because I was sleeping. I loved my sister very much. We have no feud with anyone. I don't understand who would commit such an act or why.

"A WEAK PERSONALITY"

If Nevzat left Narin, I think this could only have been done by someone through threats and money. Because Nevzat is economically weak and a lackluster personality. If he were threatened with money in such an incident, he could do it, or he might have done it out of fear. During the search efforts for Narin, Nevzat only came to us once. If Salim Güran threatened Nevzat, Nevzat is a cowardly person who would not be able to resist it.

"BRUISES FROM CORN COBS"

While searching for Narin, corn cobs were hitting us everywhere. Then news came from the hospital that there was a child; we went and looked, and we saw it was not Narin. After we returned, I punched myself out of grief over the events. Later, when I was taken to the forensic medicine institute and noticed there were small scratches, I realized they could have been caused by the corn cobs.
