The 'minimum' rate that surprised AKP's Tayyar: I am sorry

The minimum wage rate, which has been awaited for a long time and affects millions of citizens, has been announced as 22 thousand 104 lira.

While the rate is considered extremely insufficient, a 'best wishes' message came from AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan.

Those reacting to the figure in question were not limited to the opposition front; AKP's Şamil Tayyar made the following post regarding the announced rate:

"The new minimum wage has been announced as 22 thousand 104 lira with a 30 percent increase.

While the revaluation rate for all taxes, fees, and penalties in the new year has been set at 43.93 percent, and 2024 inflation is around 45 percent, limiting the increase in the minimum wage to 30 percent was not right.

It does not align with the AK Party's 22 years of social policies.

I am sorry."
