The ambulance helicopter, which took off from Muğla to head to Antalya in the morning hours, crashed into the hospital building due to heavy fog shortly after takeoff.

Following the report of the accident, numerous medical and search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area. While teams continued their work at the crash site, the 2 pilots, one doctor, and one staff member on board the helicopter lost their lives.
