Women take to the streets for Bahar Aksu, who was murdered in Şişli: 'We want justice'
In memory of Bahar Aksu, who was killed in Şişli, women will gather this evening at 19:00.
Following the murder of 34-year-old Bahar Aksu, who was killed in the middle of the street in Şişli by her ex-husband Rüstem Elibol and two other individuals, women will hold a protest this evening.
Women living in Şişli have called for a gathering to make their voices heard for Aksu and other women who have lost their lives as a result of male violence.
Declaring, 'We are marching for Bahar, for all women who have been murdered,' the women stated that they are demanding a safe and free life. The demonstration will begin at 19:00 at the Pangaltı Metro station.
Participants will emphasize that Bahar Aksu was taken from them due to male violence and will voice their demands for justice.
