Statement from YSK Chair Ahmet Yener regarding local elections: 'Voting process is continuing without issues'
Supreme Election Council (YSK) Chair Ahmet Yener stated that voting has begun across Turkey, saying, "We have received information from all provincial and district election boards regarding the current situation. Voting is currently proceeding without any issues."
Ahmet Yener made a statement to members of the press as he left the YSK building to cast his vote.
Reminding that voting has begun across Turkey, Yener said, "We have received information from all provincial and district election boards regarding the current situation. Voting is currently proceeding without any issues. Hopefully, by the end of the day, voting will be completed without problems and we will move on to the counting process. I am now heading to cast my vote."
