A new era begins tomorrow at Borsa İstanbul

Borsa İstanbul has announced that its new data center, built with the future needs of capital markets in mind, will become operational on July 1, 2026.

With the commissioning of the new data center, the goal is to increase the capacity of the technical infrastructure offered to market participants and to provide uninterrupted service to investors.

The following statements were included in the announcement made by Borsa İstanbul:

Designed by taking into account the demands from market participants and growth projections for the coming years, and planned to meet the needs of our markets for many years to come, the new data center will open for service on July 1, 2026. Thus, we will continue to provide our investors with fast and secure access to the markets. The cabinets to be commissioned in the new data center will be offered for use with high energy and cooling capacity. It is believed that the increased capacity in the new data center will allow more market participants to access this service, which will have a positive impact on trading volumes in the markets, contribute to increased liquidity, and further enhance market quality.’’

CAPACITY INCREASE TARGETED

While it was stated that cabinets with high energy and cooling capacity will be offered for use in the new data center, it was also noted that thanks to the capacity increase, more market participants are expected to benefit from data center services.
