SELL-OFF PRESSURE IN GLOBAL MARKETS

In global markets, the sell-off pressure that emerged following the reciprocity-based tariffs announced by US President Donald Trump has gained momentum and carried over into the new week.

Analysts stated that weekly money and banking statistics will be monitored domestically today, while news flow regarding US tariffs, the Sentix investor confidence index in the Eurozone, and retail sales will be followed abroad. They noted that from a technical perspective, the 9,100 and 9,000 levels are support levels for the BIST 100 index, while 9,200 and 9,300 points act as resistance.
