Company exporting to 21 countries enters concordat process: Court grants 1-year bankruptcy protection

The court has granted a 1-year final grace period regarding the concordat application of steel kitchenware manufacturer Seden Mutfak.

Seden Mutfak, which operates in the steel kitchenware sector, has entered the concordat process due to financial difficulties. The decision regarding the application made by the brand's manufacturer, Şensoy Madeni Eşya, and the company partners was issued by the Istanbul 1st Commercial Court of First Instance.

The court ruled for a 1-year final grace period to be applied to the company. With this decision, the company will benefit from bankruptcy protection within the scope of the concordat process.

The court also decided that the three-person concordat commissioner committee appointed to oversee the concordat process will continue its duties. The hearing for the case regarding the company will be held on October 1, 2027.

According to information on Seden Mutfak's website, the company has been operating in the field of steel kitchenware since 2008. The company's product groups include teapots, forks, spoons, knives, coffee pots, trays, and sugar bowls.

The company also carries out the production and trade of wooden, glass, plastic, and porcelain kitchen products. In addition to domestic sales, it is stated that the company exports to approximately 21 countries, including those in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Canada, and the USA.
