Critical hearing in concordat case of famous fruit juice brand

A critical stage has been reached in the concordat process for Aroma Bursa Meyve Suları ve Gıda Sanayii A.Ş., one of Turkey's well-known fruit juice producers. The new hearing date for the case involving the company, which filed for a concordat due to financial difficulties, has been announced as September 9, 2026.

The case, presided over by the Bursa 1st Civil Court of First Instance, addresses the process concerning Aroma A.Ş. as well as Ege Duruk, Mahmut Atom Duruk, Mehmet Çetin Duruk, Onur Duruk, Ömer Duruk, Perihan Duruk, Şirin Duruk, and Uğur Duruk.

Following the expiration of the one-year temporary concordat period granted to the 58-year-old company in March, eyes have turned to the decision the court will make. It is expected that assessments that could be decisive for the company's future will be made during the hearing.

The court also issued a call to parties and creditors who have been unable to collect their receivables from the company, stating that they may intervene in the case. In this context, it was reported that creditors could apply to join the file to defend their rights.
