Following the announcement of the minimum wage amount that will affect millions, the figures that will change in 2024 have also become clear. The changing figures that will directly and indirectly affect millions are as follows;

MATERNITY AND MILITARY SERVICE DEBTS

With the new minimum wage figure, the amounts for many items, including military service and maternity debt restructuring, optional insurance premiums, and the report allowances of minimum wage earners, have also changed. The premium amount, which is currently 143.08 TL, will increase with the rise at the beginning of the year.

DISABILITY PENSION

The disability pension is one of the items determined in connection with the minimum wage. While it is currently 1,874 TL, it is expected to exceed 2,500 lira.

GSS PREMIUMS WILL INCREASE

The new minimum wage increase has also affected General Health Insurance (GSS) premiums. To benefit from hospitals and healthcare institutions, it will be necessary to pay an amount corresponding to 3 percent of the gross minimum wage. The payment, which is currently 342.06 TL, will increase in the new period.

65-PLUS PENSION

While the 65-plus pension is currently paid as 2,680 TL before the new raise, the exact amount it will reach with the new raise will be determined in the coming days.

INTERN STUDENT SALARIES

The internship fee paid to high school and university students going to businesses for internships has also increased with the new minimum wage. While this amount is currently 3,420.57 TL, this figure will also be finalized following the official announcement after the new raise.
