How much will be paid for a patent?

The "Communiqué on the Fee Schedule to be Applied in 2024," prepared by the institution, has been published in the Official Gazette and has entered into force.

Accordingly, patent and utility model application fees made via e-Government have been set at 45.75 liras, the trademark registration fee at 1,121.92 liras, and geographical indication and traditional product name application fees at 12.42 liras.

For design registration applications, 183 liras will be charged. 

HOW MUCH WAS IT IN 2023?

In 2023, TÜRKPATENT had set model application fees at 26.78 liras, the trademark registration fee at 707.71 liras, and geographical indication and traditional product application fees at 9.83 liras. 

Accordingly, while the trademark registration fee increased by 78.52 percent, geographical indication and traditional product application fees increased by 26.34 percent.
