Identity verification measure for fake listings: To be implemented via e-Devlet

As of November 1, an "identity verification" requirement is being introduced for real estate listings via e-Devlet. With this "identity verification" requirement, the aim is to prevent fake listings and curb price manipulation in the market.

EXPECTED TO PUT AN END TO FAKE LISTINGS

According to the report by Haber Global citing ATV, the system is expected to lead to the removal of imaginary housing listings from the market. It will be verified whether individuals posting listings as property owners are indeed the owners of that real estate. At the same time, those posting as relatives will also be able to be verified via e-Devlet. With the identity verification to be established through e-Devlet, fake listings will be removed from the system one by one.
