Özgür Demirtaş issues warning, tags Minister Yerlikaya
Economist Özgür Demirtaş shared SMS messages sent to him on social media that use his name to redirect users to an "artificial intelligence robot." Demirtaş also tagged Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya in his post.
Demirtaş warned his followers against individuals using his name to commit fraud via SMS. Writing "This is a formal report" in his post, Demirtaş shared screenshots of the SMS messages and tagged both the General Directorate of Security and Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya's accounts.
Demirtaş stated, "Do not be fooled. I have no initiatives that provide investment advice."
Prof. Dr. Özgür Demirtaş, who draws attention with his assessments of economic trends and developments on social media, has this time warned his followers against scammers.

Özgür Demirtaş shared SMS messages sent to him on social media that use his name to redirect users to an "artificial intelligence robot." Stating "This is a formal report," Demirtaş said,
"My request to the authorities is to look into this phone number and the previous ones I have posted. This is a scam; do not be fooled. They are sending SMS messages across Turkey, using my credibility to defraud people. Do not be fooled. I have no initiatives that provide investment advice."

Tagging both the General Directorate of Security and Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya's accounts, Demirtaş warned, "I request the authorities to take action. It seems people are being sent SMS messages using my name.
