Price hike for three cigarette brands

A new adjustment to the sales prices applied to tobacco products was announced to the public by Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association (TBYD). Dündar made a statement regarding the increase via social media.

According to the statement, prices have been redetermined for three different products in the portfolio of one cigarette group. The new price for the products, which were previously sold at 110 TL per pack, has been raised to 115 TL with this adjustment. This change is effective as of today, and consumers have begun purchasing at the new prices.

It was reported that the price update is limited only to the three products belonging to the specified group. There is no increase for other cigarette brands at this stage. However, industry representatives state that they will continue to monitor whether there will be price changes in other groups.

With this price increase, smokers and dealers will conduct their transactions in accordance with the new tariff. The impact of price changes in the tobacco sector on the market will become clearer in the coming days.
