September price hike for Hamidiye Water: How much is a 19-liter carboy now?

Hamidiye Kaynak Suları AŞ, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), has implemented a new tariff for water prices effective as of September. While the increase rates vary by product group, the hike reached up to 13.33 percent.

According to the new tariff, the price of a 19-liter carboy of water with a returnable carboy of the same brand has risen from 150 TL to 170 TL. A 19-liter carboy of water with a returnable carboy of a different brand has increased from 170 TL to 190 TL, while a 19-liter carboy of water without a returnable carboy has gone up from 240 TL to 260 TL.

The prices for the 4-pack of 5-liter PET bottles, the 12-pack of 1.5-liter PET bottles, the 24-pack of 0.5-liter PET bottles, and the 24-pack of 0.33-liter PET bottles have also increased from 216 TL to 220 TL.

Hamidiye Water previously implemented an increase of up to 25 percent in water prices on January 20.
