2026-2027 paid teaching applications have begun: What to watch for in the application screen and calendar

The application process for paid teaching has begun for candidates who wish to work in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education ahead of the 2026-2027 academic year. Candidates are closely following announcements regarding the application calendar and where to complete the procedures.

Paid teaching applications are generally accepted in July and August. However, the process may vary depending on the teacher requirements in each province and district. For this reason, instead of a single deadline for all of Turkey, the announcements of the provincial or district directorate of national education where the candidate wishes to work are taken as the basis.

APPLICATIONS ARE MADE VIA E-DEVLET

Applications are carried out electronically through the e-Devlet Gateway. After logging into the system with their Turkish ID number and e-Devlet password, candidates can use the "Application for Paid Teaching Assignment" service.

On the application screen, candidates are asked for their personal information, graduation status, and their preferred province and district for assignment. Entering current and accurate information is important to avoid problems during the evaluation process.

Most applications can continue until the first weeks of September, when the new academic year begins. However, if a need arises, paid teaching applications may also be accepted during the academic term. Candidates are required to check official announcements regularly.
