Ministry of National Education to send 850 students abroad for graduate studies with scholarships
The Ministry of National Education will send 850 students abroad in 2023 for graduate studies with scholarships. Applications will be accepted through the Ministry's Official Scholarship Student System (REBUS) until December 29. Scholarships will be provided to students pursuing master's and doctoral degrees.
The Ministry of National Education (MEB) will send 850 students abroad with scholarships as part of the 2023 Selection and Placement of Candidates to be Sent Abroad for Graduate Studies (YLSY) program, aiming to meet Turkey's need for qualified human resources. These students will receive training in 430 different fields where they will pursue their graduate studies.
APPLICATIONS TO BE MADE VIA 'REBUS'
Applications will be accepted through the Ministry of National Education's Official Scholarship Student System (REBUS) until December 29. Students will be able to study in 69 different countries within the scope of the 2023 YLSY. Fields covered by the scholarship include area studies, architecture, special education, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, electric and hybrid vehicles, software engineering, nuclear energy, and blockchain technology, among many others.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
Application requirements include being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey, holding at least an undergraduate degree, and scoring at least 75 points on the ALES exam. Following the applications, candidates will be invited to an oral exam, and those who are successful will be placed in institutional quotas.
With this program, the Ministry of National Education will provide financial support to students who will pursue graduate education in many fields both domestically and abroad. The goal of the program is to contribute to the development of qualified human resources and to ensure that Turkey plays a more effective role in the international arena.
