According to the assessments made by the Turkish State Meteorological Service: The country is expected to be mostly cloudy and rainy.

The precipitation, which is expected to be generally in the form of rain and downpours, occasionally thunderstorms along the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts, and sleet and snow in the highlands of the Inner Aegean, the northeast of Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia, is estimated to be heavy in the Aegean coast, Mediterranean coast, the west of Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Çanakkale, Tekirdağ, Kahramanmaraş, Bingöl, Muş, Bitlis, Şırnak, and Hakkari, and locally very heavy in the east of Antalya and the surroundings of Hatay and Osmaniye.

Icing and frost are expected in the eastern regions. There is an avalanche danger in the high slopes with deep snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the east of Eastern Anatolia.

Air temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms in the southeastern parts and above seasonal norms elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow from southerly directions, and from northerly directions in Marmara, generally light, occasionally moderate, and locally strong (40-60 km/h) in the Southern Aegean, Western Mediterranean, the south of Central Anatolia, and the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea.
