Schools in Çankırı closed for the afternoon
Due to expected strong lodos winds, storms, and dust transport in Çankırı, education has been suspended for half a day across the province.

The Çankırı Governor's Office stated in a written announcement that due to expected adverse weather conditions, all public and private schools, rehabilitation centers, and Quran courses affiliated with the Provincial Mufti's Office in the city center and districts have been closed as a precautionary measure starting from 13:00 today.
The statement warned citizens to take necessary precautions and stay away from risky structures due to the adverse weather conditions expected between 13:00 and 20:00.
