Support for Ayşe Barım from Hande Erçel: 'My Ayşe...'

Talent manager Ayşe Barım has been arrested and sent to prison after an investigation into 'monopolization' was expanded to include her participation in the 2013 Gezi Park protests.

The arrest of Barım sparked a wave of reactions. In particular, actors represented by ID İletişim, the agency founded by Barım, expressed their opposition to the arrest decision.

One of those names was actress Hande Erçel. Erçel, one of the actors affiliated with Ayşe Barım's agency, was already known for frequently sharing posts featuring Ayşe Barım.

Following Barım's arrest, Erçel shared photos of herself with Ayşe Barım on her social media account.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The investigation launched against talent manager Ayşe Barım over allegations of 'monopolization' in the TV and film industry was expanded, and an arrest warrant was issued for Barım on the grounds that she was 'one of the planners of the 2013 Gezi Park protests.' After searches were conducted at her home and workplace, and following days in custody, Barım was arrested and sent to prison. As part of the investigation, numerous actors, including Halit Ergenç, Rıza Kocaoğlu, and Bergüzar Korel, also went to the prosecutor's office to provide statements.
